Over the past decade, Brandon Hall Group research has documented the steady evolution of the employee experience. Not long ago, the experience was based on a set of separate HR functions. Employees were passed from each silo of the talent lifecycle to the next during their tenure.

As a new decade dawns, it is clearer than ever that elements of the employee experience are related, interconnected and interdependent. It begins before someone is hired and extends through their eventual exit.
