Before the pandemic, 85% of healthcare workers never worked from home, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. As such, the physical workplace played an essential role in creating the culture within healthcare organizations. Many organizations focused on designing physical spaces that promoted collaboration and enabled a culture focused on teamwork. These organizations are now considering what the loss of the physical workspace means and how they can still maintain a strong culture, even if employees are working at a distance.
