Meet our speakers

Meghan Stettler
As a trusted voice for the O.C. Tanner Institute, Meghan Stettler specialises in knitting together key sentiments and perspectives to identify win-win strategies for workplace cultures throughout the world. An award-winning journalist, consultant, and speaker, Meghan has forged many diplomatic partnerships, interfacing with CEOs, ambassadors, and governors, and broken stories on news outlets like Al Jazeera, PBS SoCal, News 12 New York, and ABC Radio. She is a three-time recipient of HRD Magazine’s Global 100 Leader award, the definitive list of the leading people practitioners.
Meghan received an MA in specialised journalism from the University of Southern California and pursued advanced studies in global affairs through New York University. She was recently named International Person of the Year by World Trade Association of Utah.

Ryan Jensen
A dedicated speaker with the O.C. Tanner Institute, Ryan Jensen connects with audiences at enterprise organisations to help improve workplace culture. During his past tenure, he has increased access for frontline workers and promoted employee-centric change adoption across multiple industry segments, working with customer success teams and forging strategic partnerships with companies like McDonald’s, Paychex, SWIFT Transportation, Tesla, and SpaceX.
Ryan holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and a BS in business administration from Brigham Young University.

Ariane Hibo Ezeh
With global experience spanning four continents, Ariane brings a rare combination of cultural intelligence and business acumen to her work as a speaker for the O.C. Tanner Institute. As a strategist, she leverages cross-cultural insights to drive exponential business growth and foster ongoing partnerships, enhancing organisational performance for companies such as Google, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Expo City, and Apple.
Fluent in multiple languages, she received a graduate degree from the University of Turin and an undergraduate degree from the University of L’Aquila. She currently serves on the executive board of the African Chamber of Commerce of Utah.

Daniel Patterson
As a research manager for the O.C. Tanner Institute, Daniel oversees the IP research team in developing original, large-scale, cross-cultural studies that explore the intersection of workplace culture, recognition, and the employee experience. Specialising in mixed-method research, he collaboratively develops strategic research that supports client solutions, shapes product strategy, and identifies long-term industry trends and transitions.
Daniel excels in translating complex data into actionable insights that help global organisations advance measurable strategies for success. Daniel holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Utah, with advanced studies in research and theory.

Cristen Dalessandro, PhD
Cristen is a principal researcher and sociologist at O.C. Tanner who specialises in the study of social inequalities as well as qualitative and quantitative research methods. As part of the O.C. Tanner Institute and the Research Centre of Excellence, Cristen’s work focuses on the employee experience and workplace culture using a social science lens.
In addition to contributing to Institute research projects such as the State of Employee Recognition and annual Global Culture Report, Cristen is an award-winning researcher who has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and one book, Intimate Inequalities: Millennials’ Romantic Relationships in Contemporary Times. Cristen has a PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah.

Nadia Beedeison
Nadia is a renowned HR and reward professional with 15+ years' experience, having spearheaded strategic recognition initiatives at BHP and ANZ Bank. She works closely with several of Australia’s leading organisations, driving positive change by offering strategic workplace culture guidance that helps HR professionals and leaders optimise their teams and meaningfully appreciate outstanding work.

Russell Flint
Since joining O.C. Tanner from the financial services sector in 2007, Russell has lived its purpose of helping people thrive at work. With an extensive business development and leadership background, he has partnered with some of Australia’s largest organisations, helping them drive positive organisational change with strategic, meaningful recognition.

Stuart Cheesman
Stuart has over 25 years of global HR consulting experience helping to develop and implement employee experiences. He is passionate about helping organisations to drive cultural change whilst improving societal, environmental, and business outcomes. His deep experience and thought leadership has ensured employees and businesses can thrive together.
